PARK CITY, UT (Nov. 5) – After three years in Park City, UT, the U16 National Championships is moving to Sugarloaf, ME. The Championships will take place Mar. 30-Apr. 4th, 2015 and will feature 96 athletes selected from regional and divisional championships. For the first time, the championship event will include a super G race as well as giant slalom and slalom. Sugarloaf is a legendary Eastern race venue that has hosted multiple Nor-Am Cup races and National Championships.
HIGHLIGHTS
- After three years in Park City, UT, the U16 National Championships are moving to Sugarloaf on Mar. 30-Apr. 4th, 2015.
- The event will feature 96 athletes selected from regional and divisional championships.
- A super G race has been added to the event list for the first time this year, along with giant slalom and slalom.
- As in past years, there will also be an assessment project including a day of freeskiing and a day of SkillsQuest assessment by U.S Ski Team coaches.
- The assessment project will include a day of free-skiing and a day of SkillsQuest assessment, scheduled for March 30th and April 1st. For the first time, the championship event will include a Super-G race, scheduled for April 1nd, followed by the Giant Slalom and Slalom on the 2nd and 3rd.

- In March 2015, Sugarloaf is again slated to host both Nor-Am Finals Super-G and Downhill events and the US National Championships.
